Hello TLS,
I am hoping to make a career in the (elusive and unlikely) field of public international law. I am also certainly interested in private international law as well. Georgetown has a dual degree program where one can graduate in four years with both a JD, and their well-regarded Masters of Science in Foreign Service degree. I was wondering if this would be a wise decision. Would the MSFS prove sufficiency valuable to justify the expenses of another year, or would it be better to just focus on international law while in law school and save the money? Thank you.

Do you specifically want to work for the US Foreign Service? Do you speak any languages besides English?

I probably don't want to specifically work for the Foreign Service. I am currently learning German. The Lsat Airbender wrote:Do you specifically want to work for the US Foreign Service? Do you speak any languages besides English?
