Do community college and AP grades count?

Post by jamiek » Mon Feb 04, 2019 2:48 pm

I have an AS degree and transferred to a 4-year college. My college transcript only reflects grades from the 4-year institution and lists the credit from CC as 'transfer credit' along with my AP courses.

When I apply to law school, do my grades from CC and AP exams count towards the final GPA calculation? TIA!

CC courses absolutely count. AP grades count if the institution that granted you credit for them also assigned a letter grade to those credits.

Often times AP grades become a mere credit/no credit on your undergrad transcript as opposed to an actual letter grade.
