Hello, everyone. Boston University and others, I assume, ask whether the applicant has taken time off school in one of their C&F questions. I went to X university in Country A then withdrew, subsequently enrolling at Y university in Country B a year later. The reason had to do with family. Is this something to explain in the explanation sheet?
All the info above is disclosed via grades, by the way.
A quick question on the "awards" and "significant extracurricular activities" listing. All that info is going to go on the resume. Am I supposed to retype it all into the little boxes? Seems repetitive, but was curious nonetheless.
Thank you so much for taking the time.
Have a nice day.

Read the question carefully. If they are asking specifically about withdrawals, you should disclose but don't get detailed and don't act like it's a flaw in your application. Just state the facts. They will see your transcripts either way.
