The writing portion of the LSAT

Why is there a writing section on the LSAT if it isn’t graded or counted toward your overall score?

It's not counted towards your score but it can negatively affect you if you completely blow it off because schools will receive it and will at least skim it. Just put together a coherent argument and you'll be fine. Make sure to stick to your side and avoid sounding too neutral.
