What schools do i have a chance at?
Hello TLS community, need a little much appreciated help from the community for an applicant for this upcoming cycle. Assuming I have everything ready by september and apply as early ASAP when apps open where do you guys think I should:
1. Apply to and have a realistic shot (financial considerations out the window fortunately)
2. Top 3 public school, 3.86 (3.96 LSAC GPA with A+), 3 lsat takes 162, 164 166
3. Mock trial award winner, captain, us senate and house of reps interns on two separate summers, other decent ECs
4. Do i apply ED anywhere, or take my chances everywhere
thanks for any help

If you didn't know, applying ED is almost a universally bad idea. It is not like undergrad? Why? Because if you apply ED, you WILL not get scholarship money. However, there are a few schools that guarantee a full ride if you apply and get in via ED. The most important of those schools is Northwestern. However, you aren't competitive for NW ED with those stats.
Do not apply ED. It means paying full boat with no scholarships. Schools have zero incentives to give ED people a dime in scholarship money and likely wont (again unless its a school that explicitly gives you a full ride for ED).
So yeah, dont even think about ED honestly.
You have a great GPA. You should keep retaking. A few more questions and a 170 you are looking at t13 acceptances with some $$$.

If money is not a consideration (fortunately) then is ED still a bad idea?
Also, I've already taken 3 times so I feel like 4 times would be a bad idea

What are your career goals? If money is no issue then just apply to all T-14s and you will definitely get some of them. According to mylsn you have a good shot at Chicago as is, but if you wanted a strong shot at the rest of the T6 I'd say retake for a 170

How bad would a 4th retake look, esp being a K-JD. Also should penn ED be any consideration.
