Resume addendum?

Post by kobesmith » Tue Mar 20, 2018 8:10 am

Hi all,

I am a STEM PhD holder, so I have too many academic publications to fit in my resume. I just put 'publish 9 articles and 32 conference abstracts' in the resume. Is it necessary to include a list of my publications as a resume addendum? If I do that, it will be a 4-page addendum. It seems to be too much and weird.
Any idea?

Thanks,

I wouldn't, most likely. For schools that don't have a resume page limit, maybe select 4 or 5 to list that seem particularly strong or were in big-name journals or whatever. Addenda are generally a paragraph or two, not resume appendices.

You don't need to include a list of articles on your resume. It will be excessive.
