How to approach fee waivers

Post by Bartlet4President » Fri Mar 09, 2018 6:24 pm

I have been getting a lot of fee waivers from schools I would be interested in... next year. I applied to my 3 choice schools this cycle, but it looks like my release from military service will not be completed until after the academic year has begun. That said, I want to apply more liberally during the 2019 cycle (assuming I don’t get accepted to my top schools this cycle and defer to 2019), and I want to know the best way of going about trying to get those fee waivers again next year. Am I thinking too much into this? Should I contact the schools and say I’m really planning to apply in 2019 now? It is after all late in the cycle.
