If you get a chance to do an interview, would it be detrimental if you skip it?

It'd probably be detrimental - it might call into question your interest in the school.

Oh, I interpreted the original question as being individually invited to interview as a step in the admissions process and then declining. If it's optional, then it's optional.ToAbsolutelyNOBODY wrote:The school says it optional hmm..
