Re: Soft Question
I think you're probably underestimating how strong of a soft military service will be, even if mandatory. Regardless, your softs are definitely not exceptionally bad, and it would take exceptionally bad softs to have a detrimental effect on your application, especially with those numbers.
Tl;dr - you're fine.

Enjoy Harvard (or great money at another T13).
Highly doubt adcoms really care about dumb extracurriculars in undergrad anyways, especially after a year of military service under your belt when you apply.

As Rigo said, enjoy Harvard or having very little or no debt from a T13!
OP, your stats are amazing, a lack of extracurriculars will not harm you.

Re: Soft Question
Are you looking forward to serving in the military? I know QoL in Romania was horrible when conscription was in place, not sure if it is the same (that was during communism). If you plan on going to an American law school & practicing law in the states, it is more than likely you plan on living here, right? Can't you put it off somehow & attend law school & by the time you graduate you may have US residency/citizenship?
If you are a US resident/citizen, why do you want to go back and serve there? Patriotism? Family? Do what you want to do ONLY. & if you think you know that is what you want, think long and hard. As someone who is from a different country as well, I can't fathom wasting two years to serve for a country I will not be living in unless there's strong merit as to why.

Re: Soft Question
Game the system all you want, adcoms don’t care. But also, if your GPA is already over the 75th it doesn’t matter.

Remember OP, pride & vanity are liabilities. Also, you've been here before 2007 and graduated at an American high school, right? Msg me if you don't want to say your immigration status itt, knowing what your situation is goes a long way.

OP please don’t take any advice from this guy. Read his post history and you’ll see why.future liT1g4tor wrote:Remember OP, pride & vanity are liabilities. PM I received from our resident genius related to this thread:
future liT1g4tor wrote:Why do you say dumb shit like that about me when I don't hide behind my username, I put myself out there for people to see & troll sometimes. You didn't even read the tread. You majored in poli sci like the rest of law school wannabes and people are supposed to listen to you? Either that or you must hide behind anonymity like a true peasant. I can see if you were really someone like say top of your class at harvard or elsewhere & were known around school, etc.
Why did you make that name? You ain't built like that. You ain't finesse like Jimmy.

Stop arguing and derailing this thread. Future litigator, don’t send harassing PMs. Not sure how you are any different from Slippin Jimmy wrt anonymity since you’re both posting under anonymous usernames on an anonymous forum.
People are allowed to comment on the value of other users’ posts, and those posters can disagree, but don’t turn it into a personal grudge match that derails threads.

Re: Soft Question
I really don't think the school(s) you're aiming for have much of a requirement to yield protect. I doubt it will make much difference, but equally I don't see a 4.0+ gpa harming you in any way.lawsc2021 wrote:
