PS/C&F Questions

Post by PanjandrumOfReason » Sat Nov 11, 2017 3:00 am

If I was convicted of a crime that I did not commit:
1) Is it okay and advisable to state that in the C&F section?
2) Is it okay and advisable to make my personal statement about that experience?
:(
Comments appreciated. Thanks!

1) No.
2) Maybe, but be careful.

Agree with rpupkin.

You probably shouldn't provide too much detail about this online, but "convicted of a crime I did not commit" could mean anything from a frame-up job by crooked police to getting dinged for drug possession even though it was Jennifer's weed and you were just borrowing her car because yours got towed.

The former could underpin a strong PS about wanting to be a part of the justice system and the latter will probably just make you look stupid and/or dishonest (even if you're telling the truth).
