Quitting job after applying to LS? Forum

Hey all,
So I'm currently on a "prestigious" fellowship that I definitely want to leverage for my LS application. However, it totally sucks, and I'd like to quit. My question is: if I apply to LS, can I just quit my job afterward and look for something else without informing the schools? Should I wait until I get in before quitting? Are there any repercussions I should be considering? Thanx.

Are there any repercussions I should be considering?

This isn't a huge thing, but have you ever held a job for more than a few months before? If not, it could be an issue when you apply for legal jobs during law school. At least from the perspective of law firm hiring, it's a little concerning when it looks like an applicant has a history of starting stuff and then quitting/losing interest after a short period of time.
