Is it unprofessional to use my undergraduate email address to apply to law schools and conduct communication between admission officers? My email isn't something obscure like "name"4343@school.edu. The email is practically just my name.
Should I just create a new gmail specifically for law school purposes?

You should create a "your name" gmail because you're going to need it in the future anyway, might as well start now.

An admissions person I spoke to recommended making a bland your name@gmail.com so that you wont run the risk of losing your .edu when you graduate. She also said that they receive a surprising amount of emails from people with emails like sk8rboi6969@yahoo. com and N00bPwner2000@gmail.com which I found amusing.
