Diversity statement vs personal statement

Post by bobbyd007 » Tue Jul 25, 2017 9:08 am

I have written my diversity statement about my battle with ADHD, it explains low grades in my first year because I was diagnosed after my first year, and how much i have grown as a person and student after starting my medication. i.e better grades, enjoying learning more, picking the easiest career choice, to wanting to go to law school. I wanted to know if i should make this my diversity statement or personal statement.
Thanks

I would recommend neither, because mental health issues don't tend to play well with adcomms. It might work best as a brief GPA addendum.

But if you absolutely must use this topic, it doesn't seem appropriate for a diversity statement, so it would have to be a PS.
