Question regarding disclosure--not trying to hide anything, just curious

Post by foreignlawquestions » Mon Jun 12, 2017 12:42 pm

Hello all!

I am an American currently enrolled (online) in a BA in Jurisprudence. I saw a program that piqued my interest in Italy where I am moving within the next few months and was wondering if I need to disclose foreign education or just American when applying to law schools? I am interested in maybe attending the Italian program part time because I like the courses, but of course would finish my American BA before finishing the Italian one. I am not trying to hide anything--just am curious. Are there ways for LSAC to find out if I attended a school abroad? I don't mind disclosing it if I need to. Thoughts?

Yes, you need to include international transcripts.

(I'm doing by best to ignore how weird it is that you're doing your BA online but traveling abroad to take separate classes in-person.)

I'm not traveling abroad by choice, but I figured I want to occupy my time and make the best of it while I'm there. I move around a lot because of my husband's job (and the fact that I telecommute too). Thanks for your reply!
