The 25th GPA also dropped, so that means they enrolled more splitters (low GPA, 167-168 LSAT).

People starting to realize that the South is the place to be. It started with the rust belt laborers moving down, now the professionals are coming in droves.

I (mostly) agree with this take, but wouldn't that mean schools like Duke, Texas, and Emory would also receive large class size increases?

Duke doesn't really place in the South so that 2 person decrease is understandable, but Texas and Emory increase would make sense....we shall see.

P.S. I know this is super anecdotal, but I have a friend who got a full ride at Vandy, and turned down a lot of T14 offers to go there. I don't know what that means for Vandy's merit aid overall, but if that is a prevalent trend, I think that would be an obvious explanation for their class size increase.

According to LST, their largest state of placement is NY at 31.3%, NC is 2nd at 13.5%, DC 3rd at 9.1%.
