Neg. According to their graph they seem to start giving decisions out later than most schools (NYU seems to start rendering in Dec as opposed to Nov) so I would expect a status checker from them may come later.CastleRock wrote:Has anyone got a NYU status checker yet?

Re: 2011 Applicants FAQ and Questions thread
I did some TLS stalking and found that NYU does not have a status checker. Their application received/complete emails also go out late compared to other schools (and it is normal to even not receive one of those). Several applicants have reported just receiving an "application received" email and then getting a decision letter via snail mail few weeks later.bk187 wrote:Neg. Has anyone heard from GW since submitting? Their silence is not comforting.

Got a strange email from University of Arkansas. I don't know much about the school, but this line I thought to be interesting in the email:
"There is no fee to apply to Bowen, and applicants who submit all required materials by January 15, and are offered admission, will receive a scholarship worth up to full tuition. "
So they give absolutely everyone a scholarship? Strange, right?

Sounds more like discounted tuition than a scholarshipBarbie wrote:Got a strange email from University of Arkansas. I don't know much about the school, but this line I thought to be interesting in the email:

Well, not everyone. Only those that submit everything by Jan 15th...which is usually not most people.Barbie wrote:Got a strange email from University of Arkansas. I don't know much about the school, but this line I thought to be interesting in the email:

so.. LSAC got my transcript. Now where do I actually go to see my LSAC GPA? I assumed it would be under Academic Summary Report but when I click it it just says "Transcript analysis data not on file." Do I just have to wait, or am I looking in the wrong place?

You're looking in the right place but your report may not be ready yet. (transcripts were received but not processed yet).iahtt wrote:so.. LSAC got my transcript. Re: 2011 Applicants FAQ and Questions thread
Bowen is the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, this is a different school than the main Univ. of Arkansas, which is in Fayetteville. They are a somewhat young school and they offer scholarships to a fairly decent amount of their students. A good amount of their students get a scholarship that discounts the tuition down to the in-state rate. If seriously interested PM me, I know the school a bit, as well as some of the adcomms and faculty there.Barbie wrote:Got a strange email from University of Arkansas. Re: 2011 Applicants FAQ and Questions thread
Should I submit my applications once I know my teacher has sent in his LOR, or should I wait until LSAC actually receives it?? Everything else is ready to go right now, but this prof is very busy and said he probably won't have it out for a few weeks so I didn't know if submitting the app before LSAC has processed it is a problem or not.

What happens to additional recs that get to LSAC after you've submitted your application? Do they never get read? Or are they sent to the schools you designated as they arrive?

I'm not complete either; it just says application received. But it does have all the various parts of the application clearly checked off.acrossthelake wrote:Nothing here.cigrainger wrote:Also.. is anybody complete at Berkeley? I submitted 9/21 but still nothing.
