Sending in fall grades
I just got my fall grades back - 3.92 for the semester.
With an overall GPA of a high 3.5, is it worth it to send the transcript to LSAC? I've heard that doing so would delay the completion process.

if you are just applying to safe school than it should not make a difference. But if you have any reaches I say you deffinately need to send them end. Waiting a few extra days is worth the better chance of admissions.

Re: Sending in fall grades
I have a question related to this - I have a corrected transcript that won't be sent out until Jan. 13 (improves overall GPA by .10). I know that LSAC sends out the corrections to all schools one has already applied to. Should I (or anyone with a situation like this) send out my applications to schools on the upper end now and expect that the corrections will reach them before they actually review them? Or just wait on all the non-safeties?

Another quick question - do I send the transcript to LSAC or to the schools? Which do you think would be faster?

Bump. I just got a 4.0 this semester, and I'm applying to a few reaches. Does anybody know the best way to submit updated grades?

You send the transcript to LSAC, which then automatically sends it to all the schools you applied to.CanadianEH wrote:Another quick question - do I send the transcript to LSAC or to the schools? Which do you think would be faster?

Send it to LSAC. Let the schools know if you want them to see your grades before making a decision.azbio wrote:CanadianEH wrote:Another quick question - do I send the transcript to LSAC or to the schools? Which do you think would be faster?
