PS/App tips for reapplicant?

So I wasn't satisfied with my choices at the end of the cycle this year (applied to 22 schools and was wait-listed at 16 of them, ranging from T-5 Columbia to T-30s UC Davis) and plan to reapply in the next couple of months.
Any tips for how to approach the PS so its not exactly the same? Should I explicitly say like "hey I'm reapplying" or like how should this be approached? And any app tips in general like things I should highlight? Thanks!!
