I'm new to TLS, and currently trying to think of a personal statement topic. I wanted to skew my story in a way that mentions how my parents were human trafficked to america when I was a baby, and immigration law helped them become US citizens.
Dont know if this is something good enough.

It depends on the question posed, but, personally, I really like it. It would distinguish you from the other applications and convey a sincere motivation for pursuing a career in law (particularly if immigration law is your goal).

I think it could be pretty strong. Keep in mind they want to see your personal statement. So don't write about what the effects were so much on your parents, it would be a personal story about the parents. Keep the story itself about you. How did this background affect you growing up, interactions with authority, interactions with law, etc etc
