Georgetown Optional Response - Top 10 List

Was thinking about doing my top 10 books for this. Good idea or bad?

It's not a bad idea, per se. It's also not terribly creative.

I did my top 10 list on my favorite modern adaptions of Greek Tragedies, but I put a twist on it and made them all about adaptions that current marginalized groups use as the backdrop to tell their stories.

So I think you can use it but also be creative what about the books that you include and think about what will make the adcom interested

Well I wrote an introductory paragraph introducing the list and what it would be about, then I presented my list of 10 plays and the tragedy they corresponded to

When I applied to Georgetown, my Top-10 list consisted of my favorite law schools. I didn't list Georgetown--which, it turns out, is a major faux pas.

I did a Top 10 "Top 10 List Options" and wrote the pros and cons for each list with my top 3 in each. Kind of cheating but it got me accepted!
