ADDENDUM please help

This is unnecessary. Schools only care about your highest score, and having family/work issues the day before the test is not worth an addendum anyway.

i was under the impression that the t14 schools average your LSAT scores

You were under the wrong impression.

I think NYU says they do, but in practice, it's clear that schools only look at the top score, because that's the only one that gets reported. Now, if you had taken the LSAT 4-5 times and got a massive score boost on the last take, that might be worth an explanation. But "I didn't get much sleep before the exam," isn't what addenda are for.
