Re: Northwestern '11
I am sorry to bother you again with the bidding system but I do not really making mistakes.
On the advice of Corsair, I have decided to cancel my participation for the negotiation course with Lynn Cohn.
In addition, I have been put in the waiting list for the common law reasonning course with Chamberlain. I had chosen it because I heard it was the best teacher in this matter. However, I bidded only 10 points and it was not sufficient.
If I bid another time, the same subject with the same teacher but with more points, what will be the consequences? Is it that I would be better treated the lottery or is it will have no impact on the fact that I am a waiting list?
As I am on the wait list (in third place), is it would not be more advantageous for me to cancel CLR, retrieve my points and try the second round to save more, rather than having two CLR with chamberlain with two different bids? I really don't know what the best method is ... By the way, I do not know if I get my points if I cancel now as the second round began ...
Thanks in advance

I don't think 10 points will make a big difference, honestly, in your bidding for next semester. Go ahead and stay on the waitlist, but play it safe and bid on other things that you may enjoy.

Re: Northwestern '11
Again, thank you very much for all your valuable advices. Morality, it is better to wait and hope that people cancel their reservation for Chamberlain rather than cancel and rebid with the risk of being placed on a waiting list but further.
Actually, I also like the idea of having classes only that Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thus, I think I will bid the two others CLR who don't take place on Thursday.
In addition, I will follow your advice and bid few courses that could be interesting for me.
At the moment, I am enrolled in Business Associations, Business Law and Contract, and Corporate Finance (in addition to the two mandatory courses (AJ and CLR)). Initially, I didn't choose Corporations, particularly because the course was taking place at the same time as Negotiations with Cohn. However, like I cancelled the latter, I think it could be interesting to bid Corporations for testing.
What do you think about my approach?

I think you've got a pretty nice section. Cameron is going to be a pain at first (I hated him at the beginning of the semester; make sure you've read for class) but I really grew to like him. I really liked crim with Nadler.Merrill wrote:Found another view--looks like section 3. Did I get the crappy section?

welcome to the club ben
the way you find out your section is just to look and see what section of your classes you're in, since they're all the same, except for research and writing. like for me it says 510-2, 520-2, 540-2, etc., because I'm in section 2.

Even if you could, it would be redundant.I'm fairly certain you can't take both BA and Corps.
Worth the money for the outlines alone, I'm sure.Asking price: $10, and I'll throw in a Rubinowitz outline from last year AND the year before to go with it.

Hi everyone! I just got to the city. Would anyone like to get dinner on Sunday night? I think the 3 people I know in Chicago will be sick of me by then. I don't know any restaurants though - any suggestions? I live in McClurg, so around the area would be best.

Gotcha. Looks like I'll be joining you in section two then. But my CLR class lists section 4. What's up with that?

Re: Northwestern '11
the core courses are all in classes of 65, but writing is done in smaller sections. I don't know if they intermingle regular sections in the writing sections, or if the writing sections are just further divisions of the regular sections, though I doubt it. I'm also not sure if the writing sections are curved, since they are small discussion sized.

Section 1, staying at OnTTTeri
I'm out of bottled water. Someone said that the tap water is ok to drink here. This true?
