I would keep checking if there's nothing posted. I know Fox just posted hers yesterday or today because I looked before. And no, I didn't get an email about that site, I just stumbled across it. But I did get one for orientation!

I didn't even think about the light for the kitchen. That should be interesting. I don't think I've ever been in one without overhead lighting.

Luckily, my 3L roommate is already there so I think I'm good for the common area. What's the deal with parking around there? I know there is street parking but did anyone find a useful lot nearby?

finding parking should be....interesting. didn't see any lots around the area but then again, i wasn't really looking hard

There's generally a ton of parking on the street on west 3rd, especially between Mercer and LaGuardia (although now they're doing a lot of construction to Stern so there might not be much space).

Also, there is a garage on west 3rd and Mercer, inside the housing village there:

There's also a lot on Thompson between 3rd and Bleeker. I live almost next door, so I can tell you it's close enough. $15 NYU rate for 12 hours up to midnight.

clearly rutgers football is better than all of the schools mentioned so far

I don't know if anyone has already planned something like this - but if anyone is around tomorrow (Friday) evening I think it would be a good opportunity to grab some drinks/etc before the madness begins.

I just found out that the library doesn't open until 8am on weekdays, pretty bummed. I am a morning worker and wanted to get started around 7am. Does anyone know what time the buildings, Furman and Vanderbilt actually open I figure I could use the student lounge for an hour before the library opens.

What about your room? Not being a jackass. I just never understood why people can't study in their rooms, especially for an hour before the library opens.

My wife has a later schedule than me and we share a studio, so I would not be able to have the adequate lighting or ideal situation for studying. Good suggestion though. I also like to psychologically separate my spaces, if I am not so relaxed I will work more intensely.

my room in mercer seems huge, with plenty of bookcases/closet/dresser space.

There IS an overhead halogen light in my room, although it is no that bright. There are also overhead lights in the kitchen area...

Anyone else going to the facebook bar review thing friday night?
