Top Law Schools

All of these schools have a class of 2011 but not us. So who is going? Everyone getting excited?

i'm like 98% decided on nyu and am getting so excited about it that i'm thinking of saying screw it to possible gulc money or a cls acceptance.

I'm just waiting on my rejections from SLS and HLS, and even if I come off hold at CLS I'll probably still go to NYU. There's a facebook group to if anyone is on facebook....and not already in the group.

Well, I have 5 more decisions to go.
But, of the 3 offers I do have NYU is the best. It's funny because my NYC whirlwind trip really made me see that my former #1 Columbia just didn't compare to my current #1.
So 90% chance I'll be at NYU

so what are all y'all's thoughts on where you're living?

I'm already decided on NYU! Aleph, it looks like I'll be living in either D'agostino or Mercer. Even though I hear the spaces are slightly nicer in Mercer, I think I like the closeness to the law school of D'agostino more.

I'll be there this fall as well. I'll probably stay in Dag. Should I look for a roommate?

I'm pretty sure they will give you a roommate randomly. What do you mean exactly by "look" for a roommate?

rather pick a shitty roommate based off of a asw visit than be assigned one randomly.

Yeah, roomies can make or break ya.

I'm leaning pretty far towards NYU, but not deciding for certain until the ASW next week.

Anyone look at the "experience" website they sent out today? It seems like a pretty cool resource

I liked the experience website, though I'd have liked a little more "insights" on some of the topics.

Yeah, i checked it out too.. It was pretty cool. I hope they intend to update it regularly.

Glad we are starting to get some NYU activity. Getting worried about the lack thereof.

I think a lot of people are still deciding. Hopefully come May 2 we will see a bunch more people chiming in. I'm very excited about the school, I got a great feel during the ASD and I feel like it is going to be so much fun, especially the first couple of months, going to school surrounded by EVERYTHING. We need to do some "exploring" of the bars around the school

Definitely a good "stumbling back to the dorm" route should be mapped out early

I talked to some NYU kids. No one seems to worry or have much of a problem paying back the full tuition.

yea at the start it seemed like it was gonna be real funny but then kinda lost its way.

99% sure here. Probably be living in Mercer. Checked it out, and it seems nice. And it's only 3 or so blocks from the school. I'm not a pussy.

Hi guys. NYU seems like a great place. And I'm probably going to be there, but....would like your opinion. My main interest is cyber law. Now I'm waiting on a deferral from CLS. If I were to get in, what would be your advice? I don't have money either place.
