Strangely my section (1) for contracts, has an assignment posted already that refers to a reading in a book that's not on the required textbook list.

Although the link to the assignment was on the Section 1 page, it seems to correspond to Section 4, as that instructor's name is in the PDF file and the book it refers to is required by that section.

I'm in the same boat, 4 days of 9am and one starts at 10.

Looks like you got screwed. 11-2 class on Friday. If I had to have two classes that day, this is when I'd want them.

9 AM on MWR with only one 2 PM class on Tuesday. I would rather not have these huge breaks on Monday and Wednesday but I'll deal.

How long do you guys think that the Big Apple Bash will last on Sunday? It only says that it starts at 6:30 PM, but no mention of an ending time. Do you think it would be allowable/appropriate to bring your SO to this part of orientation?

I don't think the info on the professor's pages is quite up to date. My contract class lists the date for our final exam as 12/19... 2005.

In my Engineering undergrad, I found that even "Required" books weren't needed. I'm assuming it's different in law school. If I had optional books, I'd wait until class starts before getting it.

in regards to the health form, I was told on the phone if you had not seen a doctor in awhile then you could fill it out yourself and attach evidence of your inoculations (which I happen to have) If you don't have those, you may need to hunt them down asap.

And I am in section 1. Yay for having Miller for civpro

no, it said that classes were final as of the email. the 48 hours is if youre just signing up for your netID now...

Anyone's classes actually change? I think that was just in there for a select few updated schedules.

I agree with aleph....I believe the "48 hours" thing is only relevant if you've recently been added to the NYU system:

Please note also that it can take up to 48 hours for new student data to be processed into the University's database. If you attempt to check for your NetID, etc. and the database does not recognize your name, please try again the next day. We appreciate your patience.

Because of the reference to as yet-nonexistent NetIDs, I read it as new student data, not new student data. If that makes sense.

Yea I've been trying to look for the silver lining in that but its been difficult.
