I must say, as excited as I am about getting to STL, I'm even more excited about seeing this lottery on video. Are you going to have a podium and everything? And can I videotape a "reaction shot" of my disgust when I inevitably get the 14th pick?

I'm willing to consider any and all ideas. Podium I don't know, but I would love response videos.

Nope. Wha'd it say? My latest obsession is worrying that some of my loan paperwork got lost in the mail and now I'm not going to get any loans, so I'm interested.

Also, first post! Sup, everybody. I've been lurking for quite some time and I figure now's the time to enter the fray. I'm super excited about getting started at Wash U!

I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit depressed about the Intramural offerings. How is there no men's soccer? And i agree...what's up with no baseball/softball?

I am glad to see the preliminary Orientation Schedule has plenty of time for drinking.

yeah, having witnessed the insanity of the national law school softball tournament every year while an undergrad, i kinda assumed it was a given that every law school worth its salt would have a softball league. also sad at the lack of coed volleyball

Yes, but, the task of being at the law school by 9:30 each morning seems difficult.

That's like the GULC of draft picks. At least you're still T14.

Plus, I'd rather have the 14th pick than the 9th or 10th. At least with the 14th you get to pick near the start of every round and it gives you plenty of time between your 2 picks to use the bathroom, flirt with the girls, and eat pizza.

I thought 9:30 was fairly late. I was expecting orientation to start at 8:00 each morning.

I must say, I'm really not excited at all about orientation. I think I would prefer just another week with no responsibility before classes start.

we are going to be great friends rhit. Does anyone have any idea how many people ended up in our class or anything like that? Also, I heard theres beer league softball in Forest Park on the weekends, so softball lovers dont worry, we can form a Wash U Law team. And start that steriod cycle soon.

Has anyone checked their account on the website? They sent me my username and password yesterday (along with the e-mail username and password). Well, when I logged into the WebSTAC thing to look at my account, it was for someone else. We had the same last name, so I'm guessing they got me mixed up with someone. Anyone else have this trouble?

Softball. Beer. Good times.

They seemed to be quite worried about professionalism w/r/t the orientation.

My e-mail account was fine, but I doubt anyone has my last name. WashU needs to hire a new webmaster something fierce.

I can't even imagine how professional we're all going to be by the time school starts
