I have not sent in my deposit yet. It is likely that they are releasing the info in waves.

They've got the new 08/09 budget up on the website. 24k for residents, 40k for nonresidents.

Something weird I just noticed. The avg. debt figure for 08/09 is $62k. But the avg. debt for last year was $70k. How does that work out with the new tuition?

More grants to compensate for the tuition increase perhaps? At least that's what I heard the board of regents was trying to do. . .

And wow. . .40k out of state. :?

Sweet. Did they just do that out of the blue or did you request it?

Aint that the truth. I'm an out of stater and my $15k and change in combined merit and need based aid makes it $6/year cheaper than paying sticker in state.

I think I am going to fly down next month and search. Will have to get in touch with one of those apartment hunters that seem prevalent in Austin. Would really prefer to find a roommate, but unsure how to go about it/how much I trust someone else. Ughhh

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
