Oh God, not that stupid placement counselor crap. That's such an overblown story that really has no bearing on anything.

Not that actually, more along the lines of the social status/elite of the student body. I just don't get a terribly good vibe. Maybe the fact that they have a full-on prom kind of messes with my mind as well.Kompressor wrote:Oh God, not that stupid placement counselor crap. I have also heard that the quality of education is good, but the administration leaves plenty left to be desired.
Finally, and this is a totally personal preference issue I know, I think I'd rather live in the DC/Baltimore area than the Atlanta area.

Re: Emory Law Class of 2011
Valid points, though I was referring more to Emory as having a rep (from what I've read/heard/etc) as an elitist school...moreso than GW. DC and Atlanta both have their ritz and their slum aspects, that's for sure.
I'll stop derailing the thread though, apologies!

Roman noodles - very cheap noodles. Look for them next time you go to the grocery store.

Umm yeah. Often referred to as a "Law Ball" or "Barrister's Ball." Just a chance to get dressed up and cut loose.
