Full-Scholarships

Post by BigFamilyStruggles » Mon Apr 02, 2018 8:35 am

Just curious as to what people may think about my question.

Is there a correlation between those who are attending a given school on a full-ride and graduating in the top 15% of their class?

I only ask because I chose to go to a top 50 Law school on a full ride and continue to get asked if it’s because I want to graduate at the top of my class. In making my decision this never crossed my mind; however, the sheer number of people who continue to ask me this question makes me think that some make this decision based on this thought process.

High LSAT/High GPA >> greater likelihood of full scholarship. As to making the leap that a high LSAT/GPA alone will lead to success in law school, well, it certainly improves your odds but doesn't guarantee high-level performance.
