Merit aid if taken off waitlist?

Anticipating a few waitlists from places in the next couple weeks... anyone here heard of or experienced getting decent (or any) aid after being off the waitlist?

It really depends on the school. If they have scholarship funding left (and they want to offer it), they may be able to give something. But by the time people get off waitlists, most scholarship funding has already been claimed, so I wouldn't bet on it.

Depends on schools and your stats. If you think you were held for Yield Protect, I imagine they would put together an offer. If not, it probably depends on how much they want you/how much $$ they have let.
