Waitlisted and FAFSA

OK, so I'm on 5 different waitlists right now and I still have many schools pending a decision but I would like to apply for financial aid (FAFSA) early on. Does anyone know how FAFSA works for people who have no idea where they will end up and probably won't know until july? Will my aid information be delayed or anything? Is it even OK to put waitlisted schools on the form? Thanks!

Send them to all the schools regardless of status (expect rejections of course)

Expect or except? Not really a joke...just making sure you aren't insinuating that applying for aid my hurt one's chances.
