AA Female T14 Chances (3.5/167)

Post by nycjd2021 » Sun Nov 05, 2017 7:28 pm

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd give this a shot, as I'm trying to be realistic about my chances as I finish up applications. I'm an AA female with a 3.5 GPA from HYP. My LSAT is 167. I'm going on 4 years of business work experience with decent softs from my undergraduate days (student leadership, etc) and am planning to submit applications in the next few weeks.

Now for the big question: what are my odds at a T14 school (or even T6)?

There isn't much data, but you should be applying across the entire T13. You have a reasonable chance at T6 and may even be able to snag H.

Thanks. As you said, not a ton of data, but based on that I'm planning on including most of the T14 in my applications this cycle. Fingers crossed for a good outcome! :)

Your chances are excellent, assuming you put the same thought and effort into producing clean, crisp essays as you did into studying for the LSAT. For perspective, last cycle I was a 3.3 164 and applied late in the cycle and I got into several T14 with 45k offers. You should apply to all T14. If they're not already waiving fees solicit fee waivers.
