Please don't quote

I've mostly been a lurker, but I got good news yesterday and wanted to share. I had planned to apply in October but then a bunch of unexpected stuff came up in my life and I wasn't able to apply until the second week of January. I've been panicking that that was too late because I'm a splitter and relatively debt averse and because I'm still not even complete at a bunch of schools, but yesterday I got into Emory with 150k so now I at least know I'm going somewhere. This thread has been immensely helpful so thank you all.

How long did it take you? I’m doing mine tomorrow
About 30 minutes or less. Not long at all.

I hope there’s good news coming! >:D
Thank you I really appreciate it! How's your cycle coming along?
On hold everywhere because I’m taking the February LSAT. I applied to UCLA and LLS so far —only have USC, Southwestern and WUSTL left—, but now I’m considering applying for Rothman and submitting a programmatic contribution to UCLA...
I’m only applying to schools with good Entertainment Law programs outside of NYC so fingers crossed ><
Rooting for you! Hope you get the score you want as well!

I got an email from HLS and I’m sure it’s just spam they give to students who’ll never get in, so I wonder if I should even apply.

If you have a fee waiver and can afford the $35 CAS fee then go for it. You can't get in if you don't apply 8)

Hi guys!

I just read the entire thread, I've submitted my application to Michigan, still waiting on my Feb LSAT score so I'm going submit two optional essays meanwhile.

I'm a hispanic female, immigrant parents, raised by a single mother, graduated from hs at 16 and started college at the same age. Graduated with a 3.62 with honors (double major policial science and philosophy, minor in legal studies), and honors thesis. Took a gap year to work at a firm.

I took the LSAT in Dec and got a 156. I was scoring in the high 160s but got freaked out the night before. Hoping I scored higher this time around, but not sure. After my dec score I received unsolicited waivers from UPenn, Michigan, UVA, Vanderbilt, BU, Boston College, William & Mary. Applying to all of those, but also applying to Notre Dame, GW, Fordham, and my dream school, Georgetown.

Do you guys think I have decent chance of getting into any of those??? Honestly, super worried with it being this late in the cycle, but I feel like I have good softs.

Also, I have 0 idea how to send PM through this if I can send my statements to any of you please help me I need opinions on my statement/optional essays! lol
