Looking for chances at UT Austin, this school is my top choice.

I am a Texas resident and looking to apply right when apps open.

GPA: 3.58, with strong upward trend, 4.0 past 2 semesters
LSAT: 160
URM: Half AA
Softs: Varsity Athlete, various clubs, the usual K-JD
Undergrad: Top 20

Seems like a close call based on LSN: http://texas.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/1617

Maybe consider retaking the LSAT--you could end up with a good scholarship by adding a few points.

Thanks for the link, had not seen the graph before. Will likely end up having to take my chances due to conflicts with september test dates

It might be a close call, so focus on making your app as strong as possible. I was accepted to UT with slightly lower numbers (though I did have a lot of work experience). If you ever want to talk about your application just let me know.

Thank you very much, will likely take you up on that offer after my retake!

In addition to retaking, another thing to consider is not going K-JD and getting some work experience. Showing your ability to succeed in a professional setting could be something that pushes you over the edge. I don't know your personal situation, but that might be something to consider.
