CLEO

Post by Btcarr93 » Wed May 03, 2017 11:36 am

Hi I have been accepted to the CLEO CLIC for this summer. I haven't seen any forms for the 2017 Pre-Law Summer Institute so I want to start one to possible connect with people.

I'm sorry but

"CLEO Pre-Law Institute for Minorities is a Cooley Law Ploy"

"The Cooley and ABA pr machine have made this disgraceful ploy look like a gift to the African-American and Hispanic communities when it is really just another way to oil the billion dollar law school machine."

I'm not sure what benefits the program provides. Why not just spend the summer before law school earning money, travel, or relaxing?

If you are really scared of not being prepared try this I guess: https://www.coursera.org/learn/law-student

Edit: Maybe you should layout some pros and cons for us or tell us why you want to do this.

Yes, it's a fishy program. SEO pays you almost 1.5k a week and CLEO charges you 2k. Just being associated with cooley should raise some red flags.
