Are you sure that you completed all parts of the application?
Yup! I got confirmation and everything. When I contacted them in February, they said that my application did not get transferred to their new site. I re-completed the application mid-February and have still received no response. It's truly bizarre!
I mean...I am not trying to be all indignant, but I thought I'd at least get an interview lol I have a decent resume
You could always double-check and say, "I was informed that my application didn't transfer and just wanted to be sure that now that I have re-completed the application, it was transferred."
Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted all my emails so I don't have their contact info anymore.

Thanks, I'll definitely try that! Sorry about the emails though

Lol, it's all good. The worst part of it is the scholarship emails I deleted and need to get back so I can negotiate with schools

Should we start looking for summer housing now or, is it better to wait until decisions come out?

If you are optimistic maybe neighborhoods/general rent, just so you have an idea what you need to be saving for deposits, but otherwise what happens if you don't get it? I mean if everyone finds out by April 28th thats still a month to find a sublet.

When you're excited that you get an SEO e-mail but it's just the 50th reminder to apply

And you won't really find anyone who's going to be serious about subletting their place to you in a major city until you're 100% going to be there.

Agreed. It would be more difficult to find a sublet over a month in advance in NYC than it would be to find a sublet 2 weeks in advance in NYC. Especially during summer. Listings more than a month until move-in are more rare than listings less than a month before move-in and not necessarily a better deal/higher quality.

Did anyone have more than one person on their interview. Only one person asked me questions but there was another lady there...

the wording on these emails and the flyers i get is really confusing - "secure your spot" does that mean the interview's just a formality and everyone who applies gets an internship?

Not at all. It's quite competitive. If you search this forum or SEO in general, you'll see that there's 300-600 applicants (can't recall off the top of my head) and less than 100 selected.

So it took everyone about 2 weeks to get an interview e-mail, right?

Hmm. I'm worried that they are accepting more on a rolling basis this year.

Yea i wish i knew how early I could actually expect to hear back from them. But according to past threads they definitely start giving out acceptances the first week of april.

They pushed their deadline to 3/15 when it was originally early March. So maybe we'll hear back later this year?
It's a bit nerve wracking and I really really want to quit my job.

+1 to quitting. Honestly SEO would be more income and a great experience.

I work as a paralegal but I'm not paid a lot at all, so the extra income + experience at a big firm = tell me what I need to do, legal or not, and I would. But actually.

Is anyone sending SEO updates to your file? I know we can update the application ourselves with recent acceptances or decisions otherwise, but what if we land big money somewhere? is that worth sharing?
I mean big money scholarship wise (Like a fellowship) not financial aid.
