From my understanding doesn't Barbri preview's diversity program include bar prep classes when you graduate law school, which are usually like 10k?

yes. I think the two week training will help ease our nervousness tho. At least, I'm hoping it will.
Yup. My firm called and I felt so unprepared for everything. I was in the mall buying clothes ans felt like I was playing dress up. All my previous jobs were awesome but even the adultier adults wore jeans and t shirts with superheroes and biked into work.

Has anyone's firm not let them know how much they will be getting paid yet?

Two rounds of shrimp in two days. They are really testing us.

Definitely willing to write up a full summary when it is all done, but for now I'll just say its been great. I think its hard to realize the type of opportunity this program provides until you're in it. As far as applying goes, I don't think any of the advice has changed. Get into the best school you can and have strong interviews.

Anyone else not loving the writing assignments? Maybe it's from not being in school, laziness, or the thought that all the other SAs can do x after work or on the weekends when there's no firm social events.. It's been a struggle to get these assignments done because of concentration and simply putting these assignments off to the last minute and watching TV while writing these.

Everyone has said and likely will say that these assignments are really helpful for the future. For work, I have written a couple of memos for work and while I didn't love writing them, I at least knew I was being paid for it/it would be used by someone.

Anyone have any advice on how to stay focused on these things? Are you all working on these during work hours?

Just a quick question, does anyone know how far outside of the T-14 the program extends acceptances to? For example , are there participants from UCLA?

I believe this summer there was one SEO from Fordham, but that was unusual. Lowest ranked schools tended to be Georgetown and Texas

And the lower the rank of the school the more the region was important. I think most if not all GULC people did the program in DC, UT in Texas, Fordham in NYC, etc. As opposed to Harvard or Columbia students working in Ohio, Atlanta, etc.
