URM AA 3.1 163

Post by Raisinbranstark » Sun Jul 24, 2016 3:01 pm

Applying this fall
mediocre/average softs
local volunteer work and tutoring, coaching youth basketball etc.
also taught english for 4 months in miscellaneous wartorn african country in a IDP camp
Performed about 3-5 points below average PT in month leading up to exam (166-168)
Hoping to add a couple points on a re-take but under the assumption that I don't improve how would I look for Lower T-14 plus those schools right outside of it

any feedback is appreciated thx

eh not looking really good. Focus on getting your lsat up to the 169/170 range then you will have a t14 option or two.

Re-take, with a high 160s lsat you're looking at several Mid to Lower T-14 schools with scholarships

thanks for the advice. Already set to re-take for September. I think I can improve at least a few points hopefully

For what it's worth.

An AA urm with a 164/3.3 can get some serious money/full ride out of Alabama Law

The OP is from August 2016 so not a good chance of them responding. Looking at mylsn for general records shows that they might have managed a T20 or even T13 acceptance.
