Should we create a URM cycle results google sheet like the ones that exist for the T14s on TLS? Think it'd be super useful for future URM applicants, especially because everything's sortable, unlike the URM cycle results thread

Re: URM 2016-2017 Cycle Thread
Update: i peeked at the chatter about GPA floors. I don't believe in them. I know they don't exist becauuuuse, see the below original post. I had a 3.4x (LSACI 3.3x) with a low 160s LSAT and I landed squarely on my feet. As echoed before me, if you wanna go there, APPLY. Admissions is a crapshoot. I'll swear on everything until I die it was my PS got me here.
---
I feel like a broken record but man I really think my PS got me onto more waitlists (Chicago, CLS AND Penn among others) than I deserve, and I probably shouldn't have procrastinated until the very last minute to apply lol. If you're reading this don't be me.
On the plus side, my Northwestern decision was easy. (AND I'M SUPER AMPED)
On the downside, I'm going to toss my hat into the waitlist ring (because why not) and if I get in over the summer I'll be potentially uprooting my entire life.
Also, +1 on the google doc. I didn't fill out the general one (yet) but I'll do it for the URM one for sure.

BUT I will say that I'm not sure your cycle proves there's no GPA floor because if there is, you're not the one hitting it with a 3.4 lol.
GPA floors are more likely around 3.2 or something... Maybe lower than that.

Re: URM 2016-2017 Cycle Thread
Thanks! How interesting, I didn't think it would be that low given that I'm on the lower end for T-14 (hell even 20) schools. I've seen more GPAs higher than mine than lower, overall....but I have to remember I'm looking at a small sample size and not representative of the wholebrinicolec wrote: Congrats on your cycle.

I feel you on this. Sitting comfortably at SC but I threw in that LOCI at Columbia lol. I think it sounded kinda smooth too.Hobbesy wrote:Update: i peeked at the chatter about GPA floors. I'd also make a point to say a lot of mine (actually, all of mine but one or two) were unsolicited so check on LSAC before you ask.
