Afghani?

My dad is Afghani hazara, and most of my family members are refugees in Iran.. is this an URM?

yes that is an underrepresented group and a minority. no you will not get a boost. sorry. write a compelling DS

No it is not a URM. Afghani's are not underrepresented in law school based on their US population.

write a good diversity statement. i would certainly value your life experiences, and my sense is that adcoms would as well. good luck.
