Wake Forest or the University of Iowa

Hi everyone,
I'm deciding between these two schools, and due to being out of state for Iowa (Wake is private) the cost of attendance is roughly the same. I know that Iowa is ranked higher, but Wake has a better overall "name" recognition as being a great school. Wake's salary statistics are also slightly higher than Iowa but Iowa is also midwest - probably the reason for the lower amount. I'm completely torn and would appreciate any insight and would be open to answering additional questions that might help people analyze my situation.
I'm from Columbus, so Wake is 6 hours away while Iowa is about 8 from my family.
