Advice sought..

Post by Major Kong » Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:29 pm

On where I might focus my admission hopes. I am a 2017 graduate, currently working at a legal services NGO. Plan to attend LS in fall 2020. My dream is to work in DOJ and one day become a judge (don't laugh). I will be paying for school myself. Stats: 3.76 GPA, 178 LSAT (took it once), non-urm. I know it's a broad question, but what would you guess my best bets are? Thanks.

You have a decent shot at Yale and very good odds at H. Yale would be the obvious choice for your career goals given its placement power in Fedgov and clerkships and its excellent LRAP.

But it’s probably worth throwing in apps to the rest of the T10 in case you don’t get into Y or S and your decision is between H w/$ v. CCN w/$$ v. MVPD w/$$$$.
