Southwestern Law School Entertainment Law

Post by RedBadger2112 » Fri Dec 29, 2017 12:16 am

I'm trying to decide whether or not I should apply to Southwestern. I really want to end up in the entertainment law sector but I noticed that Southwestern is not ranked, yet showed up on the top schools for entertainment law. Any thoughts?

Don't go to Southwestern if you want to be an attorney. It's not a top school for anything, and specialty rankings are meaningless.

this.

38% employment. 50% bar passage. $300k sticker + cost of living. This is the quintessential law school scam school. I'd also be worried they may end up shut down due to their horrendous job prospects and low bar passage rate.

Also, like cavalier mentioned above, specialty rankings are almost always meaningless.

Generally ignore specialty rankings, or if you're going LA entertainment law, make it USC/UCLA full ride.
