Agree with the above, curious about your opinion on the following hypothetical scenario: If OP gets SLS off the WL with significant aid, at what price difference (if any) would you say go to S?rpupkin wrote:rpupkin wrote:You're one of those people who should choose Berkeley over HLS when Berkeley is significantly cheaper.[But Berkeley isn't really cheaper in your case, so Harvard.
BTW Congrats OP!! Glad Cal came through for you!

Re: Harvard/Columbia/Berkeley roughly equal COA
Oh, there's definitely a point where the price difference gets small enough that it's worth it to go to S over B, even if your goals are limited to SF/SV. If SLS is, say, just $20K more than Berk, then go to SLS. If SLS is $100K more than Berk, then go to Berk. As for where the switchover point is between those two poles, I don't know. It depends on a bunch of factors and personal preferences.LoganCouture wrote:Agree with the above, curious about your opinion on the following hypothetical scenario: If OP gets SLS off the WL with significant aid, at what price difference (if any) would you say go to S?rpupkin wrote:rpupkin wrote:You're one of those people who should choose Berkeley over HLS when Berkeley is significantly cheaper.[But Berkeley isn't really cheaper in your case, so Harvard.

I obviously change my vote from Harvard to Berkeley given the enormous price differential.
Congratulations on the full ride. That's very exciting.
