Another Cardozo vote here. Negotiate that up to a full ride (unless $52k is a full ride already?) and keep living expenses down for three years.

I think dozo tuition is somewhere around 59k/yr.Rigo wrote:Another Cardozo vote here. Negotiate that up to a full ride (unless $52k is a full ride already?) and keep living expenses down for three years.
OP, I agree, try and negotiate it up to a full ride!

I would go back to Bklyn and see if they will match and remove stips, then back to Dozo and see if they will cover full. Either way, as long as OP really is not interested in biglaw (or biglaw-lite/midlaw) and is fine with probably making 45-60K post-graduation, then either of those two is a fine choice with Dozo having the edge.

That Cardozo can get away with $58,000 in tuition and fees is criminal. Makes me furious.Mikey wrote:I think dozo tuition is somewhere around 59k/yr.Rigo wrote:Another Cardozo vote here. OP: don't go to any school with a stipulation. They give those scholarships knowing enough people will lose them so they can fund the scholarships for the next class. The system is designed for students to lose their scholarships.
You should negotiate a full ride from Cardozo. I wouldn't pay them a dime.
What type of law career are you looking to have?
