I still think it's a riddle, and I'm determined to solve it.

Candidates who have externed/interned/done a clinic at the Philly PD automatically go to the call-back stage for post-grad entry-level positions with the office. I didn't have similar opportunities at BC.

In addition, Drexel offers school-sponsored public interest fellowships, which is a critical way of breaking into public interest.

USNWR is wise in ways that you cannot understand. It seems that you have much to learn.

Did you apply for a school year internship/externship/clinic at the Philly PD when you were at BC or just a postgrad position?

Can this guy be banned for being unable and/or unwilling to answer a direct question? How many times do you have to get asked the same question before you actually answer it.

And Manali, can you actually answer: did you APPLY to Philly PD for a summer internship?

The mysteries of the blue lotus do not reveal themselves to those who simply ask. First, you must exercise patience, and suffer in the waiting. Upon endless reflection, and endless cycles of exhausting questions and not-quite-answers, only then do you realize that there is no truth—only oblivion.

Geez. Sorry I was unclear at first. Point is, for "nonprestigious" public interest like PD/DA/Legal Aid, ranking of school is not as much of a factor. BC is obviously a better choice if you're aiming for soul crushing Big Law.
