Class of 2015 Employment Statistics by School: #TrustTheProcess
I'm rounding the percentages, but feel free to persuade me otherwise. If you think my percentages below are incorrect then let me know. If you don't see a school here, it's because they came under 10%. If you want to see those schools, then I recommend finding their LST Report.

Re: Class of 2015 Employment Statistics by School
So aside from 100% employment rate, what is considered a good rate?

It's really convenient that a lot of deposit deadlines happen before these deadlines.. Would be nice to see how the employment trend continued more recently at different schools with more data.

I assume that including the fact that not every single person is going to be able to be contacted/tracked, a few go into business, a few go to get PhDs, some just become stay at home parents because they want to, as close to 90% is probably a "good rate"zot1 wrote:So aside from 100% employment rate, what is considered a good rate?

And what point does it become a bad rate making the school a bad investment? 85%? 80%? 75%? 65%?

Hastings posting a 65% employment rate with salary. Honestly, no one should be counted as employed if they do not have a salary. That's just volunteer work, not employment.
Villanova has a similar rate. I know both schools are not top, but if this is a trend, it is not a very good one.

Just last year their rate for bar passage required was 80%. However, they had over 70 school funded positions contributing to that rate compared to 25 for the class of '15.zot1 wrote:66% bar passage required. Yikes.Today wrote:George Washington #s are up.

That is a pretty impressive drop, doubly so due to the reduced class size.zot1 wrote:66% bar passage required. Yikes.Today wrote:George Washington #s are up.

Google "[law school name] employment statistics." Some schools have them updated and some don't.
Given that no 0Ls should be posting here, I'm a little concerned that people haven't done this before. It was one of the things I did as a prospective students when weighing my options.
