Even USD without money is the best bet of all those schools

so im guessing from the poll people think that the greater prestige of Hastings/Davis isnt worth it? Do Hastings/Davis grads have a hard time finding work in the SD region?

Depends on what kind of jobs you are talking about. If biglaw, check the websites of firms in san diego, and narrow your search to see which schools most come from. USD is probably the most popular.

I was actually pretty curious about SD myself. I'm a SF Bay Area guy first and foremost, but I'm pretty open to working in most of CA...so basically I'm bookmarking this thread.

Do Davis/Hastings place well in SD? Not necessarily "BigLaw."

what you are missing is the assumption i made that paying full price for davis or hastings makes no sense unless you are counting on biglaw. op did no mention it

If you're going to USD and working in San Diego you will not be working in biglaw, especially right now.

Of those 3 schools, USD gives you the best chance. I think your poll results are accurate in ranking the success/placement of the respective schools in the San Diego area.
