My applications are submitted...as of monday when my LSAT results arrived. Can anyone predict my cycle, which I admit, may be a little ambitious.

3.80 (Communication; poli sci minor)
164
Non-URM male
24 yrs old
Strong softs- Lots of community service (campus leadership, director of a student social justice project, AmeriCorps volunteer, intern with small non profit in Geneva) and recently spent one year in Zambia working as an advocacy coordinator and caseworker for refugees where I hosted a weekly radio program and lived with a Zambian host family.
Very Strong strong LOR's
Decent PS (so I think)
CA resident

Boalt
GULC
UCLA
Vandy (had a great interview)
USC
UCI
George Washington
University of Washington
UC Davis
Hastings
Loyola
Santa Clara

I thought about Cornell, since its probably more likely than Boalt or GULC, but thought I already had enough reaches. Also was thinking of adding one more target school, but not sure which one.

Any thoughts?

thanks for the help.

My thought was that I would leave the west coast only for a better school or scholarship offers, since I feel pretty confident about at least a few of those UC and private CA schools.

Do you think UCLA, USC or Vandy will bite?

you have a chance at all those schools, but i wouldn't be surprised if you were dinged at all of them either. LSN says that things aren't looking good. check out USC 08-09 cycle:

englawyer,

thanks for the link. I've been spending way too much time at LSN trying to figure this whole thing out. If I get in I'll be thrilled. If not, I think I'll have some decent options.

I'm hoping my application with a strong public interest theme with the background to back it up will put me over the edge. But I know its a numbers game in the end.
