we should come up with a TLS uniform... something that would blend in with business casual but TLS'ers would recognise. We could have like a huge inside joke and ppl would be like "how do they know eachother?" or "I wish I knew what they were talking about."

just a thought... :D

WUSTL ASD invite states "The attire for Friday's events is casual." My father recommended wearing a tweed sportcoat with elbow patches, complete with a pipe in my breast pocket. He also suggested nodding and rubbing my chin frequently during the classroom session.

Will anyone else be there on the 30th?

Any combination of these is what I'll wear. You've already impressed them enough to get accepted. Now, it's their turn. Wear what's comfy without looking like you're still in HS. Just don't wear shirts as pants or anything.

I drew a star in the corner of my name-badge and posted a note in the ASW thread saying I would be doing so but, unfortunately, no one introduced themselves to me...

I'll probably do "dressy" jeans and button down shirts. I don't want to go overboard.

The forecast for my tour of U Chicago this Friday is currently hovering around a high of 9*F. So I'm going to be wearing my polar bear suit. Or more likely a wool skirt with a pair of tights or two and knee high boots because I am fearless in the face of freezing.

Tee hee. Polar bear suit. Cute.

Agreed. I wore nice jeans and a sweater to my ASW and I was very comfortable, and probably in the middle of the pack dressyness-wise (wow my vocabulary sucks).

Remember that big discussion about "should I wear sweats to law school?" Something tells me she'll be the one in juicy sweats.)

Wow, i didn't know "tights-worn-as-pants-when-they-should-have-been-worn-underneath-something" was a term that one could use. I like it.

tights+uggs=heaven :)

I think a polo or nice button down, nice jeans, and casual shoes should be good.

Jorts! You can't. A wife beater is more acceptable than jorts.

I'll probably just go with nice jeans and a sweater/polo, depending on the weather. I'm not too concerned.

HOWEVER, I would really like to whip out some plaid shorts and a polo at UVA if the weather allows. Only seems natural.

I'm apprehensive about all this attire business, because I go to a school where if I wore sweats to class I'd be tarred and feathered.

And polos? Law school isn't a Pike kegger.

Oh God, I'm part of the problem...
